For years now, Alizé at the top of the Ivory Tower at the Palms has participated in Las Vegas Restaurant Week, which allows hundreds of diners to select Chef Mark Purdy’s best selling menu options from a prix fix menu. It’s a perfect way to acquaint our diners with Chef Purdy’s finesse and talent in our Alizé kitchen. It’s truly a taste treat that spans the decades as Chef Purdy is careful to protect the lineage of fine French cuisine, which was first established by Chef André Rochat, while also introducing diners to French contemporary takes on newer menu items as well.

This year, though, two important facts have changed.

First, Alizé Restaurant Week (which benefits Three Square in feeding area families in need) is now TWO weeks in duration, from June 15th – 26th.

Secondly, because both of Chef André Rochat’s restaurants – Alizé and Andre’s at the Monte Carlo – are celebrating Rochat’s 35 years of French dining in Las Vegas this year, we’re offering a Restaurant Week “throwback” menu of Chef Andre’s all-time best sellers throughout his 35 years here.

During Alizé Restaurant Week, enjoy classics that have survived the decades such as Andre’s famed French Onion Soup, a best seller since Chef André opened his first restaurant, Andre’s, in 1980. Or, choose instead to enjoy the return of Escargot de Bourgogne, which still features a butter recipe from Andre’s mother.

At Alizé, try other best sellers from Andre’s original downtown location such as the Petit Filet of Beef with traditional Cognac & Peppercorn Sauce, or the Sautéed Salmon Oscar, a slightly lighter version of Chef Andre’s classic Veal Oscar that’s still served with Chef’s delightful crab leg and Béarnaise Sauce preparation.

Pastry Chef Tammy is staying true to the Andre’s school, too, with the re-creation of Chef Andre’s famous Lemon Tart. This tart actually debuted when Chef André opened the bakery, Savoy, prior to opening his first restaurant downtown, and it’s a recipe so sublime that a simple raspberry sauce is only needed to complete it.

Use the upcoming Restaurant Week to re-introduce yourself to the finest in French dining over the many, many years Chef André has been innovating in his kitchens. And, with Restaurant Week menu pricing at just $50.15, you will feel like you’ve actually traveled back in time!

Reservations are strongly recommended. Please make Andre’s online reservations or call us directly at (702) 798-7151.
